Maria Elena has over 44 years of experience in the insurance industry. Maria Elena started her career in insurance in 1980 as a renewal specialist in the Surety Department with Fidelity Deposit & Company in Houston, Texas. 

Maria Elena joined Americanized Benefit Consults (now GBS) in 2009 as an Account Manager.  Over the years, Maria Elena has developed extensive experience and dedication in the insurance industry with proven ability to implement effective policies and procedures; managing existing accounts and identifying opportunities for growth; developing and maintaining relationships with current clients; consulting and executing client-specific strategies for renewals and partnerships and acting as a liaison between clients and insurers.
