Dan McKean joined GBS Benefits as a broker in 2009. Before that, he worked as a Group Sales Executive for Humana in Nevada, gaining firsthand experience with medical carriers and their inner workings. This background gives him a strategic edge in negotiating pricing and product offerings in the marketplace.
In his role at GBS, Dan is dedicated to helping corporate clients find the best-fit health plans that deliver maximum value to their employees. He provides expert consultation on benefit design, innovative product strategies, and the seamless education and implementation of these plans.
Dan holds a degree in Business Administration and Industrial-Organizational Psychology from San Diego State University. He is licensed in Health, Life, and Disability Insurance.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. An avid outdoorsman, he can often be found golfing, skiing, or mountain biking in his free time.
